This is an exciting opportunity to join Captify, the Global Leader in Search Intelligence, and one of the fastest-growing ad tech companies in the industry. Marketing is at the heart of Captify and boasts a marketing approach that goes against the typical ad-tech grain. As an integral member of the global marketing team based in New York, you will be responsible for driving revenue through excellence in proposal storytelling, unique pitch experiences, and general best practices for the wider commercial teams. You will work in close partnership with the product, commercial, and partnerships teams and with the global marketing team to deliver compelling, differentiated, and bold pitch and proposal marketing efforts.


ABOUT YOU

The Commercial Marketing Manager will lead the overall lead-gen, quality, content, and pitch experience from start to finish to ensure Captify’s solutions resonate and convert with brands and media agencies across the US. Collaboration is key in this role as working with sales, clients' success, insights, creative studio, and the wider marketing team is key to hitting the common goal.

This is an exciting role within the marketing team for someone passionate about media and marketing and inherently passionate about winning and driving new revenue with data-fuelled, strategic marketing & media ideas for many of the world's largest and most innovative brands.

Understanding the core media and marketing landscape, the challenges and opportunities for brands, and the ad tech and digital landscape will be key to the success of the person in this role.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own the creation and evolution of the foundational pitch kit, pitch messaging, structure, and proof metrics in partnership with the Global VP of Marketing & VP of Sales and Global VP of Partnerships
  • Fuse data, creative media solutions, and outcome-based storytelling to ensure Captify’s proposition resonates with a brands’ challenge and desired campaign outcome
  • Own the proof metrics needed to validate pitches such as campaign performance metrics, brand validation and testimonials, case studies, creative library, and competitive comparisons
  • Create, project-manage, format, and proof-read RFPs, using pre-existing information and graphics where suitable and developing new, where needed.
  • Build strategic ‘off the shelf’ strategies for existing clients in line with seasonality and planning cycles
  • Create easy to understand customer journey frameworks that support a range of activity such as product launches or campaigns focused on driving mass awareness or direct sales
  • Work with the design team on data visualization and simplifying information for audiences
  • Innovate the overall pitch experience for truly personalized experiences that excite, surprise, and delight the brands we work with – think big and bold here!
  • Provide an ongoing cycle of feedback and information from proposals into product and product marketing to feed actionable intel the enhance our overall solutions
  • Act as a sign-off and proof -reader on proposals and client work outside of your own work
  • Deliver a monthly report on project pipeline, win rate, and closed vs won science via Hubspot reporting

 

 REQUIREMENTS:

What you need to be successful:

  • Skills and experiences required
  • A track record in bids/proposals/new business projects
  • Knowledgeable about digital/media/marketing/advertising
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly in writing and proofreading - a must!
  • Highly flexible and motivated, working without supervision as needed
  • Ability to multitask to work across activities effectively
  • Experience of building strong relationships at all levels - internally, with clients and prospective clients
  • Deadline-driven, with effective time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed team environment
  • The ability to understand and respond to technical information in response to a client’s specific requirements
  • A positive, friendly, and can-do attitude and ability to persuade others to act
  • Experience using business tools – Google Suite, MS Office, PowerPoint, etc
  • Not essential, experience in Indesign an advantage
