Regional Sales Director - West Coast

As the Regional Director, you will be selling Captify’s Search Intelligence product suite to advertising buyers in the US – having ownership of growing the West/Central region. You must have extensive media buyer/planner and senior stakeholder contacts at key US agencies. Direct client relationships with in-market brands are also critical. Must be able to demonstrate a strong sales history. The candidate will also have experience and knowledge of the programmatic market.



What you’ll be doing:

  • Selling Captify’s Search Intelligence products
  • Sourcing, pitching, and closing agency deals/market direct
  • Have excellent knowledge of the DR, brand, and video markets to help deliver revenue growth across those channels
  • 25%+ of travel required for coverage of regional sale



What you need to be successful:

  • Online experience – preferably in performance advertising, video, and programmatic
  • Experience in pitching and closing agency accounts/market direct
  • Strong track record of performance against targets
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-starter, intuitive, and highly motivated.
  • Strong knowledge and POV on industry issues. Thought leadership
  • Understanding of agency trading desks and the impact of those on independent display companies
  • Solid understanding of the display marketplace, and the role of DR, brand, and video within that
  • Good contacts across agency groups/client direct in the West/Central region
  • Strong track record in driving incremental new business in addition to account management
  • Experience growing an early-stage territory into a multi-million dollar business
  • Experience hiring, standing up, and leading a team of sellers in support of a growing territory
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong personal brand
