OVERVIEW

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Junior Sales Planner to work alongside the Sales team to identify and build client relationships. You will be overseeing all pre-sale collateral and audience insights for new partnership opportunities, playing a crucial role in helping drive commercial success and growth for the business.

 

ABOUT YOU

You will be an enthusiastic and passionate Junior Sales Planner working alongside the existing Client Strategy & Sales team by providing an extra layer of insights and outlook on potential clients. You will be a true self-starter who can work collaboratively with multiple teams and can provide a high attention to detail. You are a personable individual who is filled with motivation and high energy that will light up the team pushing us to our goals. You will ideally have some experience in the media sector.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assisting in the structuring, strategy, and planning of all pre-sale materials inc.: meeting prep, meeting follow-up, RFPs, and RFP insights – working collaboratively with the help of corresponding Sales Leads.
  • Learn and interpret client objectives & media KPI’s to best formulate media strategies.
  • Build relevant insights for pitch and proposal presentations for prospective clients and new business opportunities
  • Proactively identify market trends by researching current press and historical data - prepping team for effective client and category approach
  • Oversee new business and handoff to Client Strategy (post-sale) team to ensure smooth activation of contracted partnerships
  • Conceptualize presentation and collateral design with Marketing team for deliverables
  • Fully immerse themselves in the digital advertising industry, learning about one of the fastest-growing advertising channels in the US
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office inc:
    • PowerPoint, Excel & Word

 

 REQUIREMENTS:

What you need to be successful:

  • Comfortable working in a sales environment with individual and team targets
  • Self-motivated and have an attention to detail
  • Have an organized approach and be able to meet challenging deadlines
  • A proactive approach with excellent communication skills via email, over the phone, and in person.
  • Passion for digital and always seeking to extend your knowledge of the market.
  • Commercially minded
