OVERVIEW

This is an exciting opportunity to join Captify, the Global Leader in Search Intelligence and one of the fastest-growing ad tech companies in the industry. Product Marketing is at the heart of Captify and boasts a marketing approach that goes against the typical ad-tech grain. In this maternity cover role, you will join Captify at an incredibly pivotal moment, working across multiple platform product GTM strategies as well as launching innovative media solutions to market. This role has line management of one product marketer and works collaboratively with the wider marketing team to access additional support, input and to build integrated GTM strategies. 

 

ABOUT YOU

As a product marketer, you will be excited about data and technology, passionate about client engagement, and commercially focused. Collaboration and stakeholder management across departments is key, so youʼll need to feel confident in managing a range of views and input and be a true owner of the product marketing roadmap, in synergy with the wider product roadmap. Given this is a maternity cover role, you’ll need to form relationships and build internal trust easily and should be confident in sharing your opinion with senior stakeholders. We take the Captify brand very seriously and weʼre looking for a product marketing lead that thinks beyond traditional one-sheets and decks to inform our clients of the value of our products. You should be very skilled in creating information flow and data visualization, partnering with our internal design studio to bring information to life. You should enjoy and thrive in a fast-paced environment in an incredibly passionate and high-performing marketing team. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partner with Commercial and Product teams to plan and execute a roadmap of Product Marketing strategies that support continued revenue growth and customer adoption of new platforms, aligned with commercial priorities and the overall company objectives 
  • Define the narrative, positioning, and proof points for Captifyʼs range of platform, media, programmatic, and insights solutions for a range of buyers and personas
  • Launch new solutions to market and be a critical component in mobilising the wider business to support and adopt new products and their GTM strategies 
  • Create tools aligned to support all stages of our customer journey, from conceptualizing a new solution to helping drive sales conversion. You will build a killer suite of collateral inc video, one-sheets, proof metrics, pitch decks, proposal templates, client testimonials to post-campaign partnerships and success stories, such as case studies and award entries 
  • Enable and onboard sales teams to use tools in the right way to drive business impact. This includes training programmes and videos, cheat sheets, and testing sales adoption of tools 
  • Deliver market intelligence to commercial teams by immersing yourself in the industry, clients challenges, and competitor activity 
  • Identify new opportunities and threats in the market, including opportunities to partner with third-party vendors for exciting innovation and feed this intelligence back to Product 
  • Work with Global VP of Marketing and wider marketing team to ensure Product messaging is aligned and amplified across channels including PR, Industry and Captify Owned Events, Web and Social 
  • Build effective tracking and reporting on the effectiveness of initiatives, collateral and strategies using Hubspot reporting to quantify sales uplift  

 

 REQUIREMENTS:

What you need to be successful:

  • Must have experience in a product marketing role within a media or technology company, ideally a platform/SaaS/self-serve business 
  • Ability to demonstrate a portfolio of product marketing launches and projects  
  • Degree in business, marketing, English, or Media 
  • Experience and knowledge of the digital advertising sector & competitive landscape. 
  • Proven excellence in grammar and content writing (portfolio will be requested) 
  • Strong commercial awareness and knowledge of how marketing supports sales 
  • Desire to do marketing differently, building and maintaining a brand that stands out 
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills 
  • Great at planning and obsessive with detail and analytics 
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and other MS Office programs Proficiency in marketing platforms like Hubspot and WordPress
