To support this, we have recently launched our Sense platform for clients, with an existing dedicated insights teams in each market (Sight) focused on servicing more bespoke dedicated client needs. The overall vision being to provide our clients with high-value insights that genuinely enable to them to increase their customers, the understanding of their marketing effectiveness, and therefore refine their strategies for success. 



This is a key role within our growing business, taking responsibility within a global remit, as a driver of commercial insights capabilities and development across the operational side of the business. Our search intelligence data provides the backbone of understanding real-time user intent, thereby enabling the delivery of both high-value insights as well as performant programmatic marketing campaigns for our clients. It is with this goal in mind that the focus of delivery will be against. Driving strategic initiatives to ensure we are delivering high-quality insights to our clients globally, ensuring that Captify is continually seen as a valued partner. Working with the VP of I&A, you will be a stakeholder in our efforts to continually deliver high quality combined with innovation, whilst looking at the requirements and processes to automate/scale globally the insights product set. Key partner functions in this role will be our sales and client strategy teams as the main conduit with our clients, both locally as well as those servicing global clients. Working with the Product team, providing client feedback and innovation from our analysts which will inform our ongoing development of Sense.  You will also work closely with our marketing team, partnering across client pitches as well as content marketing initiatives. 

The role is technology-focused and so requires an individual with significant technical ability but also have proven commercial awareness, understanding the impact decisions will have strategically on the business. An important part of the role will be to guide global insights practices and proficiency, leading to both performance for our clients but also the ongoing evolution of our recognized high-value customer insights. The candidate is therefore expected to bring a considerable amount of stakeholder management, experience working consultatively with senior-level clients, and commercial acumen of turning data-driven insights ideas into business-changing deliverables. 



What you’ll be doing:

  • Hands-on leadership and coaching to develop a culture of high performance across the Sight teams globally. 
  • Mentor the wider Sight teams, working to define their training and development requirements as well as ongoing coaching.
  • Active contributor to building a dynamic and thriving insight community globally. 
  • Active contributor delivering research and resultant ongoing innovation of how Captify’s data resolves for both Insight and business success to our clients.
  • Innovate and propose new insights products, ensuring that all of Captify’s insights products drive attributable revenue. 
  • Direct input into the standardization of global insight delivery to Captify clients, ensuring efficient scale of release. 
  • Liaise with our Product Teams in planning and design of ongoing Insights orientated roadmaps – automation through to platform features.
  • Create and strengthen relationships with insights and research communities through outward engagement.
  • Supporting both new business and development plans across our existing tier 1 clients with senior leads.
  • Working closely and consultatively with Sales/Client Strategy leadership to capture qualitative client feedback and assess through prioritisation how this shapes our insights roadmaps.
  • Be comfortable both presenting work to clients directly at a senior level and acting as a consultant to them.
  • Critically appraising the effectiveness of Insight products in delivering increased client revenue through win rates/upweights and account growth
  • Assessment of 3rd parties who can provide either validation or augmentation to Captify’s insights. 



What you need to be successful:

  • Commercial-orientated insights or research background with leadership experience gained in an agency, digital media owner, client, or ad technology environment. Demonstrating the clear success of attributing to revenue growth.  
  • Experience in working across multiple markets, ideally with an established network in main regions.
  • Exposure to working with adserver, programmatic, or digital analytics data +6yrs 
  • A passion and curiosity in the data and technology space, continually innovating and asking questions.
  • A clear understanding of measurement within the digital ecosystem, from attribution through to mixed media modelling principles. How clients measure success, from linear campaign metrics to complex models.   
  • Excellent communication skills: influencing and working effectively with technical and non-technical audiences - able to translate analysis into compelling stories - making complex data analysis clear and impactful.
  • Degree in Maths, Statistics, Computer Science or equivalent desirable
  • Proven statistical analysis and experiment design and analysis a distinct advantage.
  • Deep demonstratable experience with SQL and Python preferred 
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exposure and working understanding of BI tools such as Tableau, QlikView, etc.
