OVERVIEW
Captify is looking for a talented and creative global content & comms marketing manager to join our growing team. Reporting into the Global Head of Content, your role will be to deliver best-in-class content marketing campaigns and assist the global marketing team with executing the content and comms strategy.
ABOUT YOU
This is an exciting new role within the marketing team for an ideator who is enthusiastic about media and marketing, and inherently passionate about developing thought-provoking and actionable content across all channels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
What you’ll be doing:
- Create and deliver timely and engaging content (newsletters, blogs, infographics, reports, press releases, thought leadership etc.) to raise awareness, generate leads and drive revenue growth
- Build, schedule and maintain a quarterly content calendar that creates a consistent flow of communications and plugs into our lead generation programme
- Own and manage owned channels (website, social media etc)—from creative briefing, posting content to growing audiences
- Work with internal stakeholders to create thought leadership and cultural content that resonates with our clients
- Maintain a unique and consistent tone of voice across all brand touchpoints and channels—be the ultimate brand ambassador internally and externally
- Own and manage a global awards calendar and produce entries for business, product and campaign awards
- Interpret data and insights to build compelling stories around audience, brand and vertical trends
- Collaborate with global commercial teams to identify partnership opportunities and showcase success stories with clients
- Brief and collaborate with in-house designers and external creative agencies to ideate new concepts and bring content to life
- Ensure our PR and content initiatives are amplified across all channels to drive maximum awareness in market
- Develop strong internal relationships with key stakeholders - including regional marketing leads, partnerships, insights & analytics and people teams
- Develop and own performance reporting to ensure we track and deliver on content & comms marketing objectives and drive business goals
- Stay on top of audience, brand and industry trends to create timely content that captures attention and resonates with key audiences
REQUIREMENTS:
What you need to be successful:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing roles and environments
- Solid understanding of the media industry landscape
- Excited by and passionate about brand and consumer relationships, advertising and keeping a pulse on trends
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Strong organisational skills—ability to project manage effectively, prioritise and deliver tasks on time
- Ability to interpret a brief to create content that is unique and engaging
- Exceptional writing ability, with a passion for creating engaging and newsworthy content
- Desire to do marketing differently, building and maintaining a brand that stands out
- Demonstrable planning and reporting skills
- Capable of managing social media presence across multiple platforms
- Experience with tools like WordPress, Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office / Google Suite - docs, decks and sheets
