OVERVIEW
At Captify, search data is the foundation of our business. It is our differentiator and the key ingredient in all our products. This role will identify and recruit new data partners including publishers, technology and service providers in the US, our largest market.
Responsible for signing new as well as managing existing partners, the role requires great relationship building skills and a keen understanding of data and technology within the advertising industry.

You will have existing relationships within US publishing and will have experience building solutions together, innovating and negotiating to the benefit of both parties. You will thrive in fast paced, scale up cultures and love building long term partnerships across our industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
What you’ll be doing:
- Partner with the product, sales and insight team to identify what data is most needed in your market
- Share ideas, feedback, and input internally on the product solutions required to retain and grow partnerships
- Find and contact potential new partners
- Use a solution selling approach to find out how Captify data and solutions can best solve prospective partners problems
- Demonstrate deep AdTech understanding internally, with clients and partners
- Speak on Captify’s behalf at industry events and in the press
- Be an active part of the global partnerships team, working closely with colleagues in other markets
- Build strong relationships with existing partners
- Identify new and innovative BD opportunities
- Work closely with commercial, product marketing and legal to ensure parties are brought into the discussion at the right point in the process to ensure a smooth onboarding
- Have initial discussions with partners to understand their technology and how ours can help them, give advice when issues arise. Bringing in Captify Solutions Engineer when appropriate.
REQUIREMENTS
What you need to be successful:
- Extensive knowledge of the of supply side of the AdTech industry, particularly publisher’s monetization strategies and the mechanisms they use to achieve their goals
- Knowledge of key AdTech industry trends, particularly around identity and addressability
- Proven experience with solution selling
- Strong industry relationships
- Experience initiating and/or managing relationships with strategic partners, especially among senior levels
- Comfortable in technical/data conversations with partners and internal teams
- Knowledge of US data privacy regulations
- Ability to build excellent rapport with internal and external stakeholders; strong teamwork is a must
- Clear and concise communication style
- Ability to operate within a fast-paced environment with a high attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a hybrid-remote environment
COMPENSATION
The annual compensation range for the Data Partnerships Director role in New York City is $140,000 - $175,000 + bonus.
Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
