OVERVIEW
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Planner to help drive commercial success and growth for the business in partnership with the Sales team. Your main responsibility will be building pre-sale collateral, like client proposals such as RFPs and audience/ market insights for new partnership opportunities, as well as retaining and expanding existing opportunities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
What you’ll be doing:
- Structuring strategy and planning of all pre-sale collateral: meeting prep, meeting follow-up, RFPs and insights – working collaboratively with the help of Sales leads.
- Learn and interpret client objectives & KPIs to create impactful media strategies.
- Create relevant insights for pitches and presentations to prospective clients and new business opportunities.
- Identify market trends by researching current press and historical data – prepping the team for effective client and category approach.
- Partner with Marketing to package compelling market trends into marketing materials.
REQUIREMENTS
What you need to be successful:
- At least 1 year in advertising/media, preferably in a planning function
- Experience constructing a compelling narrative in the form of client proposals.
- High attention to detail.
- Comfort working in a high-paced sales environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Interest in the media and advertising space.
COMPENSATION
The annual compensation range for the Sales Planner role in New York is 70,000-75,000.
Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
