OVERVIEW
At Captify, we partner with the world’s biggest brands to unlock the power of search intelligence. We're looking for a commercially-minded and client-facing Junior Marketing Insight Analyst to turn our unique data into compelling stories that solve client challenges.
This is not a back-room data science role. This is a unique opportunity to be a strategic partner to our clients, using your analytical skills and deep understanding of the media landscape to deliver actionable insights. You will be a strategic storyteller, focusing on effective data visualisation, campaign measurement, and the impact of digital media. If you are passionate about translating data into commercially savvy, strategic recommendations, we want to hear from you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Craft Compelling Data Narratives: Translate complex analytical findings into clear, persuasive, and commercially-focused stories for clients and internal commercial teams. Your output will directly influence the client marketing strategy.
- Trusted Client Advisor: Act as a point of contact for internal and external clients, supporting our commercial team with your expertise. You will help clients understand campaign performance, measurement, and the "why" behind the data, answering their pressing business questions.
- Insight-Led Data Analysis: Build your understanding of SQL to query our vast search intelligence dataset to uncover trends, patterns, and audience behaviours that support client objectives.
- Measurement & Impact Analysis: Analyse and report on digital media campaign effectiveness, providing clients with actionable recommendations for optimisation and future strategy, demonstrating the impact of their media spend.
- End-to-End Project Delivery: Support project lifecycles from understanding the client brief and hypothesis generation to data extraction, final insight delivery, and presentation.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL (Essential Skills & Experience)
- Relevant Industry Experience: 1-2 years of professional experience in an insights team within a creative agency, media agency, or an in-house client CMI / insight team.
- Ad Industry & Measurement Knowledge: Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, media landscape, and campaign measurement principles (e.g., performance KPIs, brand lift, control vs exposed testing).
- Data Storytelling: A creative mindset with the proven ability to translate complex data into a clear, compelling narrative and actionable business recommendations. You can build a presentation that tells a story—not just a list of charts.
- Client-Facing Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to present your findings and act as a knowledgeable partner to external clients and internal commercial stakeholders.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with an innate curiosity for consumer behaviour and the 'why' behind the data.
- Technical Foundation:- SQL: An understanding of SQL, the ability to effectively query data, and a willingness to learn and innovate with new technologies.
- AI: A conceptual understanding of, and ability to use, AI and LLMs in analytical workstreams.

WHAT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE (Desirable Skills)
- An interest in coding (particularly Python) for automating or expanding analysis.
- Familiarity with statistical methods (e.g., clustering, regression, significance testing).
- Experience with Databricks or similar data notebook environments.
YOU WILL ENJOY
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays + your birthday + volunteer day
- Regular shut down days, including the festive period
- Access to SPILL - instant therapy support
- Access to Mental Health First Aiders
- Sport and wellbeing activities
